As part of our quality control and oversight mechanisms over the OIC Projects, members of the OIC Road Reserve Committee conducted field visits and technical meetings at the campsites of the contractors executing the 50KM Urban Road Project, PAVIFORT/HUTA/Gambisara (joint venture), and CSE/SSTP/AL Fahd.
Separate engagements were held in the respective campsites of the contractors in Brufut and Kanifing, on Tuesday, 22nd February, and Thursday, 24th February, respectively. 
The monthly site activities, which were held under the auspices of the supervising Consultant, PACE & GAMECS, were aimed at acquiring firsthand information as well as monitoring the progress of work against stipulated timelines and milestones. 
The contractors revealed that clearing and scrubbing, excavations, and mobilization of vital equipment for permanent civil works and personnel are all well underway. 
Additionally, stakeholders are working round the clock in a coordinated manner to relocate vital public utility services (water pipes, electric cables & telecom connections) ahead of the civil works.
